Wow I’m honored that you resonated with those parts so deeply and thank you for sharing!

It’s so hard because I get bored way too fast! Or maybe I just get excited too quickly lol but that frustration I identify with hard. And the conditioned perfectionism. I’m hopeful though that the change I need is here and I just gotta jump into it.

I love your creative space and find it so amazing that you are using your walls and furniture as your canvas too. It’s inspiring. Imma get back to the visual creativity. It’s coming.

Cheers to us for embracing all of us and accepting that it’s a lifelong learning ✨🤗 I appreciate you so much!

Yes cheers to us!

Your boredom and excitement, maybe its both. I can be like that too. I've tried different concepts and wasn't sure what to do with them. I hold onto the ideas because I've had some of them circle back. You might be bored with it at the moment but visions always have a way of letting us know that's exactly what we need to do. The shit that has us bored lol

Sometimes you have to just leap, even if your eyes are closed and you don't know what's in front or below you. That's the scary part because we want everything to be right. Time waits for no one. Just do it no matter what.

I'd love to see your work sometimes. When the time is right, you'll pick up the paint tools again. I had to step away from mine for a while because I needed to write. As for the house, THANK YOU! Slowly turning it into my lil gallery. I'll be doing more painting with it soon.

"I am wading in a pond of interest but searching for the river that will sweep me away to the grandness of the ocean. Passion simmers beneath pots but none really ever reach the point of a boil."

"My soul is crying out for more and I know that on the other side of whatever this is I will be remade with roots and vines. It is time I find rest within a tree where I can release the weight of body into the rough bark that has rivers of wisdom etched into its hidden rings."

"I'm buried in possibilities.

Engulfed by the past, the present, and the future

never truly knowing where I am or where I'm going."

"I hold space for you and for me to falter and fall. Perfection is never the goal. The continuing is. You are needed even when you are at your lowest, even when you regress, even when you do not know yourself. You are always known to life. Continue on and try again."

Ok 🤭 I had to quote these parts specifically because these are more than important to me. For a lil transparency, I've been doing a lot of introspective work for almost a year and even more since February.

I feel like I've also been wading in the pond too because I know I want more but frustrated trying to find and obtain it. Creatively, I had to narrow down my art practices to a manageable size because being a Jane of all Trades doesn't work for me - again - frustrated because I want to do so much lol. Painting has been my outlet but when I found writing again, it felt like falling in love with someone that you used to love long ago. Now I'm in this place where I need both mediums to fill in tiny gaps, those voids that needed something fulfilling.

As a recovering perfectionist, it took me years to unlearn this mentality as someone who experienced a sort of perfectionist conditioning. I catch myself when I feel like my work needs to be perfect when I know it doesn't need to be.

I'm still learning myself and I know that will always be. Embracing all of me.

This piece hits home for me in many ways and I appreciate you for sharing your heart ✨
